"Raphael has always succeeded in doing what others longed to do" (W. Goethe).
This is how the German writer described Raphael, the brilliant artist from Urbino who became immortal thanks to his art and is therefore celebrated in this 2020 at five hundred years after his untimely death.
On the occasion of the celebrations of the 5th centenary of Raphael's death that falls this year, Patrimoni d'Arte has created a prestigious bronze medal.
The artwork depicts on the front the engraving of Raphael's face and the words "RAFFAELLO V CENTENARIO" and on the back the Madonna of Foligno, his famous painting preserved in the Vatican Pinacoteca in Vatican City.
