Dated to the beginning of the 12th century, this codex was probably made in Italy and belonged to Carlo Morbio, a learned Milanese bibliographer and numismatist of the time.
The illustrative apparatus is one of the main reasons of interest of this work, since it includes an archaic and different version of the iconographic program that meets especially in other testimonies of the series and this transforms it into a rare and precious object for bibliophiles, despite is one of the less known testimonies of this kind.
The original is kept in the Berlin Library.
