V Centenary of the Great Genius – Lithographic Printings

 
 
 
 

A folder containing six lithodigital portraits of the Genius, able to realize some of his greatest works.
Leonardo is depicted on a hypothetical scaffolding in the refectory of S. Maria delle Grazie in Milan, engaged in the pictorial enterprise of the most famous Cenacolo in the world, then he is busy making the imposing bronze equestrian monument for Ludovico Maria Sforza; a lithodigital is dedicated to the theme of flight and another to revolutionary inventions in the field of genius war engineering; finally, Leonardo is an architect-philosopher, with his extraordinary insights on the equilibrium inherent in nature, of which the Vitruvian Man is synthesis and in the latter he is presented with his most "obscure" activity: anatomy.

On the cover small bas-relief in resin wet in bronze, depicting Leonardo.
