Codex of the Flight of the Birds

In the early 16th century, Leonardo da Vinci dedicated particular attention to the study of flight and to the design of a flying machine.
Being able to realize the enterprise of human flight represented his most ambitious challenge, he decided to write a treatise on the subject, divided into 4 chapters.
The replication of the codex gives descriptions of details in which Leonardo indicates the materials to be used in construction, the position of the pilot, the location of the center of gravity, the latter factor essential for the construction of any flying object..
